The latest Dragon Ball Z movie, Battle of the Gods is having a limited Theatrical release in North America. The good news is that we have  the screening dates for this coming August, 2014

The Days are...

• 5 -Tuesday
• 6 -Wednesday
• 7 -Thursday
• 9 -Saturday  

I got the dates off of Funimation's site. The bad news is that we don't have any city or specific movie theater information (where and when) as of yet.  Funimation only has a countdown timer to the dates above. There is also a notification signup form for e-mail and/or text messages.  Has a button to view the trailer and an inactive button to purchase theater tickets later down the line.

There's no guarantee that it will be screened here in the state of Illinois but there have been past instances where we were included in limited North American releases of Anime.   I think  Ghost In The Shell:Arise was shown in a Chicago movie theater. We also got one of the last Studio Ghibli films shown in the Suburbs.
